Skiathos has a nice blend of relaxing beaches, greta places to eat and a main town with a great buzz. The beach near Kanapitsa which has a great taverna and from where you can get the water taxi into Skiathos Town was great. This is a lovely hotel and I have to say that we found it to be spotlessly clean.
