the rooms looked like the sort of place people stay in whilst on the run in a Hollywood movie. There was quite a collection of stains. It was quite a way out of the town centre, the staff were pleasant and helpful, this is it's only saving grace.
I staryed at La Tour for just under a week due to my son playing in a football tournament nearby. Having read previous tripadvsior reports I was expecting the worse.

The babybed we were given was broken and had no base to lay on. When I told the hotel receptionist about this no apology was given and she merely snapped at me. Stayed here for 2 nights as it was the last hotel available at the time. It was a chalet more than a hotel with a large lounge but the whole chalet was very smelly and stale and hadn't been cleaned very well. Also in desperate need of refurbishment (paint peeling off the ceiling in bathroom). Shower was very grubby and...
