We booked a last minute weekend getaway and stayed one night here. The hotel itself was fine - nice decor, convenient location and a good spa. I didn't mind the small room (this is Europe after all) as it was clean and well furbished but they could've put in more effort with the bathrooms. You'd think it was two different... More

This hotel was fine for a two night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed Copenhagen. Although we had previously upgraded our room, the hotel missed this although they apologised on our departure. The first room we were shown needed refurbishment and as it had a large dorma window, it would have been impossible to block out the light. The room we... More

This hotel sits in the main city of Copenhagen, at a quite surrounding and a beautiful lake before the hotel gives it an immense glory. The main market of copenhagen can be covered by a walk from this hotel. I luved the danish breakfast and the breakfast at this hotel was soothing my taste buds! Hotel is clean and staffs... More

The hotel promises much more than it can deliver, the rooms we had were tiny and the bathroom quite basically furnished, a little disappointing for a 4 star hotel. the bed was too small for my husband and i but the quality of the sheets was remarkable. reading lights were barley enough and the curtains did not block the morning... Sutuated on the lakeside, the hotel is in a fairly quiet location for central Copenhagen. It is however a fairly long walk to get right to the centre (Tivoli, railway station, tourist information, tour starting points etc.) - probably 15-20 minutes walk in total. Norreport station and the shops round there are closer though - maybe 10 minutes walk. My... More

The hotel is located well, short walking distance to Norrebro station with connections to anywhere in the city and anywhere in Denmark and Sweden. Pluses: Rooms are in a very good condition and windows can be opened. Good restaurants at the hotel and in the neighbourhood. Bed was just right for me. Minuses: The window curtains are not very wide... More

Very large room with comfortable king bed and a full size coach, including flat sceened tv. The only problem was the lighting in the room, it was very dark. If you wanted to read, it was too dark. The hotel was located with many afforable dining options within 2 or 3 blocks. We also ate in the hotel's italian restaurant,... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. I am very happy you liked the room, despite the lighting. Of course, you should be able to read, so should our other guests, so thank you very much for this feedback. I have informed the General Manager and she will look into this matter. As to no air conditioning, we have chosen... More

Be careful with this hotel. We checked in late to one of their Junior Suites having been told it was the second biggest room type in the hotel with a lounge area. Who are they kidding? The so called "lounge area" is in fact a desk with an ironing board on the wall! The room was poorly decorated with curtains... More

The Hotel Kong Arthur is a Family owned hotel, and unlike some family run hotels, it lacks the charm or personality many others do. The front desk staff are reasonably friendly, but lack any charm...much like Copenhagen. Their tolerance is somewhat low, and help is not high on their list of priorities. The hotel seems understaffed and suffers as a... More

I was also caught up in the booking system nightmare referenced by a previous reviewer. After a long international flight, I was greeted with the situation of having to take a room in the sister hotel for 1 night of my 5 night stay. The other hotel was not of the same quality and having to unpack, pack and store... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your elaborate review! I am very sorry of the trouble you had due to the implementation of our new computer software. Change of plans, being relocated to a room that does not live up to one’s expectations, and having to unpack, pack and unpack again is never convenient, especially not after a long flight. At...
