Me and my working colleagues have had a conference in this hotel. It's a 5 star hotel and looks like a russian "Ermitage" museum. Very beautiful, great facilities for a big groups and perfect for hosting conferences. The working staff was nice and helpfull.. Make sure to get a room facing the water, it and incredible view. The rooms are simple and to the point, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. There's a pool and great running trails all over.

Stayed fro a conference and was not impressed. The hotel is quite tired and a bit dated, rooms are (over)due a rehab - howevere some of the common areas seems quite recently refurbished. stayed there for three nights in february, very quiet , hardly any other guests there Had supper one evening in the restaurant, reasonable choice. No safe deposit box in room, free wifi though ask for sea view stunning views across the ice to sweden, as off peak no extra cost bar was empty, but a few in the casino bar... More

Stayed twice at Marielyst hotel in 2011, May and August. Nice hotel with clean rooms fixed in place in major need of renovation. Really good breakfast with everything you could want from what you get as a Continental. Good location within walking distance to Helsingör. Will surely bring in is again at the next transit.

Beautiful room overlooking The Sound and the Swedish coastline. Nice beds, bathroom roomy and filled with goodies. Reeptionist nice and helpful. Breakfast very good, dinner ok but on the other hand theay only had BBQ that night. Would love to come back.
