Got upgraded to a business room upon arrival and got a very nice room. The whole hotel is in very nice condition. I even had a balcony.
Beautiful old hotel with amazing stairs. We had a superior room which I recommend for two persons since this means two 90 cm beds, lower categories have smaller beds. Being an old renovated hotel means that it looks nice with approx 4 m room height but also some negatives like no A/C (not in our room) and creaky floors and...

(Negatives on top, pluses coming below - this is a nice hotel but I feel that some negatives are worth pointing out.)
NEGATIVES:
-You are expected to pay at arrival, like at some budget hotel... Normally as a guest I prefer to at least see the room before I pay. That is almost always normal, or at least a possibility,...

A big negative for this Hotel is the car park. The Hotel does not have its own car park, you have to use a public car park two blocks away. The Hotel has ten minute free car parking outside the hotel to load & unload your car. Fortunately for us the weather was fine, but it would have been very...

We were given an upgrade to a Very nice suite , kind of a pent house thing with the master bed on a Loft. Very cosy! À nice "british" gastro pub! The only thing that wasn't that great was the breakfast with cold boiled eggs , a bit Messy and no good mornings or smiles!
the most amazing part is the beautiful hotel interior which you see immediately when you enter the hotel. we did not expect such a nice hotel for the price. the breakfast is really good with a big variety of food. the rooms are not really spacious, but very simple, stylish and clean. the staff was absolutely frienly. we strongly recommend...

- Buffet breakfast in Cafe de Rasoir.
- Comfortable despite -23 deg C outside.
Negatives:
- Room small.
- WiFi not free and I had to continually reset access point, which I found under the...

This is a stunning hotel - due to the historic lavish interior. The rooms are fairly normal 4* level you would expect at the price. Breakfast is good, staff friendly. Only weakness is no free WiFi which is amazing thee days.
Stayed for one night, and was upgraded to two floor suite which was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was OK. A nice Pub on the backside of the hotel. Still the most obvious memory is the great stairs up from the lobby.
Elite Hotels are in most cases in Sweden an excellent choice and they are in all times well positioned in the city centres, many times in old traditional buildings that have been transformed into tastefully decorated hotels.Knaust is no exception.
Beatiful last century bulding with atmosphere and ambiance.
Small but comfortable single room with excellent bed comfort.
Bathroom with tub...
