“A wonderful place to stay”

On our Scandinavia trip we stayed one night at Torneby Herrgard, and it was the best hotel during the whole trip. Nice 3-bed room, with a romantic flair, good breakfast buffet, and erverything was clean. Torneby Herrgard offers a sauna, which looked very nice but we didn't use it. “Beautiful house, wonderful hosts, great location!”

We stayed here in late June 2009 while traveling through Sweden with my parents. My husband and I thought the decor was a little outdated, but the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had probably the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. We arrived in Kalmar by airplane and discovered that the Torneby Herrgard was literally 2 minutes from the airport.
