I stayed at the Kung Carl for two nights while on a business trip to Stockholm. It was recommended to me by my local contacts for its proximity to the meeting location and good quality. I had a few hours free on one day and walked out of the hotel and around Stockholm for a couple of hours. I booked... More

We were a group of friends that managed to strike a good deal with Best Western and their Stureplan hotel. Since we were 5, we got 2 rooms, 1 of which had a very nice balcony overlooking the Stureplan square. The other, though, only had a tiny circular window that barely let in enough daylight to light up the room... More

Need a place to rest, with very nice rooms and they have personal touches in every room? This is the place. To just calm down in the bar, or have a lunch during the day. Nice place to stay and very nice staff.

Especially in the high segment they have very nice and special rooms (e.g. with a bathtube in the middle of the room). I also like the location and the breakfast (nice and cosy room with a view on the street), but all rooms are very noisy when it comes to street noise. The hotel even provides ear plugs for that... It seems that at the check-in is like gambling. If you are lucky, you can be offered a large and astonishing room, but in my case, I was offered a small room with a smaller bath. The door of the bathroom touched the bed, and bathroom had always to be used with the door open. Considering the rate/night I was... More

One of the most romantic rooms I have stayed in with a beautiful and comfortabel bed. Friendly and service minded staff. Location is great next door to restaurants, bars, and shops.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor. The room was fantastic! Quite big compared to other rooms I have stayed in with a shower and bath as well as a beautiful masonry heater in the middle of the bathroom part. I also loved the fact they had a huge 4 poster... This hotel is consisting of several buildings connected with a built-in "plaza". The location is superb for shopping, a night out or sight-seeing the central parts of Stockholm. We had no problems with disturbing sounds, but in case there was also ear-plugs in the room. Our room was small but very personal. The window from the shower means you cannot... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a package deal, so didn't really choose it myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was (for very little $$). The staff are very helpful, and all speak perfect english. The buffet breakfast was great, the room was small, but comfortable, and warm (with underfloor heating in the bathroom). It... More

Location: Fantastic. Right near very nice shopping places, short walk to very scenic marinas, metro is nearby, great nightlife Rooms: Rooms on 5th floor seem to be smaller than on 6th floor. Compared to North America the rooms seem to be very tiny. Only a few rooms have AC so watch out. Bathroom is adequate, the shower stall was very... More
