My husband and I went to Stockholm in may 2012. It was my first trip to that city since i was i child, a bit embarrassing, really, since I live in Oslo/ Norway. Anyway, we wanted to book a hotell with great location and a good and comfy standard. The staff that checked us in where very polite and smiling.... More

Stayed in Hotel Stureplan in May 2012, room 609. Small but very cozy room, still had enough space for my luggage. Bathroom was very clean (very important) and modern. Loved the shower! TV worked fine, internet worked fine, service was fine, breakfast was fine. Location was perfect. I would definitely stay hera again.

At 2000 s.kr. Room 304 was expensive. Very small, no aircon and sun (surprisingly, since the room faces a dark yard) shines in during morning hours. No blinds to stop sunrays, curtain must be pulled. Took Afternoon nap, when i opened curtains, three people, smoking on balcony facing room, looked straight at me. Much prefer nearby Scandic.

Dear Sir/Madam, I'm very sorry to hear that you did not find your room or your stay to as confortable as either you or we hoped. As you may know, it is quite uncommon with air conditioning (a/c) in Scandinavia and this is also true when it comes to hotels. We do offer rooms with a/c, but only in the... More

If you do not want any extras (pool, gym etc. ) for your stay Hotel Stureplan is a good choice. The hotel is located in one of the poshest neighbourhood in Stockolm, just some steps away from Stureplan and the cafés where the rich and beautiful of Stockholm gather - especially in summer evenings. Rooms are somewhat small but adequate... More

The hotel is very well situated in Stockholm - everything in a walking distance - shops, restaurants and the historic sites in the city. Stureplan is around the corner with all the glamour of whos who in Stockholm. The rooms are nice - clean and the size is ok.

Me and my son (5) stayed here for an extended weekend, and while it was good, there were some issues. First of all, we had booked a "Superior king"-room, but got a modern room at the top floor (http://www.hotelstureplan.se/Vindsrum.aspx). The room was spacious, so it suited our needs pretty good, but it seems to be a cheaper room than what... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review, but I'm sorry to hear that you didn't feel that your stay was just as you expected it to be. I remember you and your son and I was actually the one to allocate you to this room (#602), for the simple reason that it is one of the larger Superior King rooms... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights during our first trip to Stockholm. On the plus side, the hotel is located in a high-end part of town, about a half block away from a very nice boutique shopping center. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the metro - about 4 blocks away, and the... More

This was my first trip to Stockholm and was looking for a boutique hotel with character. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, except that when I checked in, I was told I would be staying in a cabin room - which is downstairs in the basement, in the smallest hotel room i have ever seen, with no windows. My assistant... More

Dear Sir/Madam, I was very sorry to hear that your stay wasn't at all as you expected, which is something we don't want our guests to feel when staying at Hotel Stureplan. It is indeed true that we have a few so called "Cabin rooms" and that they are without windows. These rooms are normally only used by business travellers,... More

We fell in love with this hotel. The location is in the center of Stockholm's shopping district, next to many top attractions, public transportation, and some of the best bars and restaurant the city has to offer. Our deluxe room was beautifully appointed, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and complete with desk, small (non-working) fireplace, minibar, and flat screen tv. The bathroom... More

The hotel is locate in the center of the city, walking distance from ever important place to see. Its location is a BIG advantage as you can walk the city without using any transportation. The cons are that the hotel is a bit small, the room is exactly the size you need, so spares there. Overall - excellent choice!
