Stayed for 2 nights in Cumulus Jyväskylä, which is well situated near the city center. Room was in Finnish high standard basic: clean, warm and nice. Service attitude was maybe a little bit better than average in Finland.

The rooms are extremely HOT, there is no airconditiong, you can't open the window. There is a long way from room to breakfast. The stuff is very friendly, there is a problem with the parking places. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is good.

Jyväskylä is known for its student nightlife. If you want to enjoy this, the Cumulus is not expensive and close to the bars. However if you don't go out, it might be a bit too close

For the purpose of just having a bed to sleep in the hotel is just fine. The interior is old and a bit shabby. The location in the center of the city is, however, very good with easy access to restaurants etc.

This is a terrible hotel to stay in in summer. The nightclub close to the hotel plays music till 3am. It's impossible to sleep. I also suggest you avoid getting a room on the sunny side in afternoon. It's really difficult to find too much wrong with this hotel. The location was good - 2 minutes and you're in the town centre.
