Nice hotel with a good location and friendly personnel. We have also spent here some nights having our dog with us. They have always been ready for this: one chair is covered with a sheet, we have received a bag with delicacies and poo-bags for the dog.

Generally inhabitants in this part of Finland are considered to be rather reserved and slightly cold. So not true when it comes to the personnel in this hotel. We stayed here for one night, and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and, although we overlooked the market square, there was no noise overnight. There were no English language TV stations available. Restaurant looked unwelcoming, so we ate elsewhere. Breakfast was fine.

Nice hotel and perfect location. After the Venetian Night breakfast room was too crowded. There should have been more people cleaning tables and filling the breakfast buffet. One day later the breakfast room was big enough for the remaining visitors. One bed was OK but the other one had a broken mattress.

Quite nice hotel but hard to sleep well. I woke up at 5.30 am to an alarm clock in some other guests room and since that there were lots of people slamming doors and staff chatting just outside the room in very early morning. An OK hotel. The location is good, in the middle of the market square, and the restaraunt and bar are nice. The reason that it only gets average is that the rooms are small and could do with being modernised . On the plus side, the staff were friendly, and the broadband was free and fast.
