We were very happy to stay at this guesthouse close to the centre of Reykjavik. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped (with self-catering facilities and private bathroom) and on top of all that it was very good value. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse and would happily come again.

We found this guesthouse on tripadvisor and were pleased with the results. We stayed in the smaller of the two rooms but it was still a great size. 5 minute walk to the heart of the city, but not close enough that you get the busy traffic noise. Guesthouse Octavo offers many comforts in a residential area of Reykjavik only a few minutes walk to the city center. Parking is a bit of a challenge as it is residential and you may have to park a few blocks away but isn't a huge problem.
