We recently took a family vacation to Iceland and stayed in the Downtown apartments. Our flight arrived late in the night and had to pay extra for late check-in. When we arrived in the apartment we found it quite spacious for 5 adults, two bedrooms and one pull out couch. There were also two bathrooms one with no toilet just... More

Very conveniently located self-contained apartments, not far from the main street of Reykjavik and within walking distance of the BSI bus station and hire car facilities. We had en-suite with a kitchen area, the room was very spacious for two people, especially as rooms in Iceland can sometimes be quite small. The host was friendly too. Recommended.

Fantastic value two bedroom, two bathroom appartment in central Reykyavik, with parking. A very modern space with most fittings and furniture as new. The living space was big, clean and well equipped. We arrived in the early evening and the after hours self check in process was very easy. This place would make anyone from couple to families feel very... More

We have recently returned from a brilliant stay here. The beds are super comfy and cosy. The rooms are huge. The apartment was perfect for our family with three huge young men! We have no complaints at all...despite having very high standards. (The enormous television was football watching heaven.) The host, Thora, was polite, friendly and helpful- her English is... More

Waking up our first morning to a jackhammer was not pleasant, or each sunsequent weekday morning. The walls were thin and could we could hear the water running in the next kitchen, which was at our headboard...... The apartment was not very clean, but the duvet covers and towels were. The laundery had 3 washing machines, 2 of which did... More

8 of us arrived for a weekend in Rekjavik and we had only booked for 6 people. The chap who owns the place(i forget his name) was very accommodating. He let us have the penthouse apartment for a slight extra cost but split between 8 people it was nothing. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms and communal areas all very... More

The rooms are decent, except if you have any sort of family situation. There is a pull out couch in the main area and what is effectively one massive bed in the other room. I stayed here with my brother and my parents and (4 of us) all of us were getting maybe 4 hours of sleep maximum per night.... More

Stayed there for one week, perfect for discovering the city. It was the first time we decidet to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel and I didnt regret it for a second. You feel so much more like a local and not as a bloody tourist

At the cheaper end of the scale (not cheap but nothing is in Iceland) and basic. From the outside the accommodation looks nice enough - it's modern. Inside, at first glance it looks OK. Very IKEA-ish but upon closer inspection everything is jaded and a little cheap. There is no 'woman's touch' - most of our rooms had no wardrobe,... More

We booked a 3 bed apartment for a weeks stay in Reykjavik. The apartment was advertised for 8 people, there were 5 of us. If i am honest, i think if there were 8 adults it would have been a tight squeze. The 5 of us had just enough room. It is in a good location, 5 min walk to... More
