We arrived early (8:30) from our flight from the United States, but that was not a problem. After breakfast we could go to our room. The room (Art) was okay with a nice shower and enough room (nothing specials). The breakfast has good products. The location is nearby the airport and therefore it is a little bit outside the city... The good: the lobby and some of the rooms have been recently renovated. However, not all of the rooms have been renovated, and those that have not have a definite 1980s feel to them (although also clean). We got upgraded (at no charge) because our original room had no hot water. We called to complain, and as the house plumber... More

We stayed only for one night at the Natura. We got a very nice and clean room. One can easily see that the hotel has been newly renovated. Dinner at the restaurant was very good indeed. The smoked salmon is one of the best we have ever tasted. Breakfast was caotic with way to many people wanting breakfast before 8... More

We stayed at the Natura on an Icelandair package that included an Essential Iceland day-long tour. We added a night to the package for a 5-night stay. We also emailed ahead and upgraded to an Art Room and were glad we did because we were the only people on our whole flight whose room was ready when we arrived at... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of an Iceland Air organized trip to see the Northern Lights in February 2012. The hotel feels like an airport transit hotel. It's on the edge of the domestic airport airfield but the terminal is a taxi ride away on the other side of the airlfield. The hotel is nowhere near downtown... More

I could say so much about this hotel after I only spent 5 nights there... The hotel in it self is of course not really pretty from the outside but really you sleep inside anyway. Great contact with the reception and very comfortable room. The bathroom was a bit tiny but rather clean. Water-boiler in the room, quite convenient:) The... More

If you are an American looking for Hilton or Marriott type rooms - drop that notion right now. This is a very nice European style hotel (i.e. small rooms, two twin beds, small shower and toilet, dorm-esqe) with friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good restaurant on site, beautiful walking and biking trails right outside the front door, and an AMAZING... If not for the excellent staff at this hotel it would just be an average hotel but they really go out of their way to make sure you are happy and taken care of. The hotel has some excellent amenities such as a very good spa with thermal pool, hot tub, sauna and steam bath. The only real complaint I... More

Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance...... this is a lovely hotel, with a spa and indoor geothermal pool. Excellent dining downstairs. I would stay here again, it is within walking distance to downtown yet not in a noisy area. Near university.

This is very Nice clean hotel, which provides all you need. It is close to the "beach" you must go to the beach and take a dip in the ice-cold sea. We loved the restaurant and spa.
