A reduced price tempted me. The free arking turns out to be on the street a min or so walk away but not an inconvience. Great location, but very poor accommodation. Our room was seperate to the rest of the hotel, it was up a pokey alley way, there were marks on the door frame as if it had several attempted breakins. The room had two single beds in, with the most hideous bed speads on, thay looked like the hadn't been washed in months.... More

Second time I have stayed there. Good location, just on the edge of downtown Reykjavik And close to the harbor. Basic rooms and basic breakfast. You can usually find good rates and the flybus and tour buses do pick you up from there.

Clean basic room with comfortable bed. In a fantastic location.
