Everything was terrible in this hotel: unpleasant and rude owner, dirty room and bathroom, dirty sheets covered in stains of blood, ugly building... My wife cried the whole afternoon after arriving there as the owner refused to give us back our money, and we even considered to find another hotel, but everything was full as it was peak-season. If you... More

We booked this hotel then read the reviews. Must say was a bit worried but having arrived to find our room clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc.,. and free internet access) we were pleasantly surprised. For the price it is excellent value for money and its location is brilliant, 2 minutes walk from shops/restaurants. No,... More

This hotel promise way more than it can offer. They don't care if they overbook. They will just put you in some other place for the night. We booked months ahead - a room with TV and bathroom. We got none of that. At least we got a small room in a guesthouse over the street.

My husband and I had read the reviews of the AdaM on TripAdvisor and were very worried since it is the hotel that came with the package my travel agent provided. We were pleasantly surprised-the room was very clean and there was a computer with Internet access. We had a small sink, dishes, glasses, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The only strange... More

we stayed in this hotel for one night, which was the absolute max amount of time we were prepared to stay there. the rooms are pathetically small and the toilets feature a sink that is either completely in your way so that you can't properly sit on the loo, or tucked in behind the shower screen so that you can't... I would not recommend this as a place to stay in Reykjavik. The only good thing about the stay was the location. It was well located to visit the downtown area. The rooms were very plain, the shower water pooled in front of the sink in the bathroom, and the help was just reluctantly helpful. We asked if someone could... More

I don't have much to say except this place has literally stolen my money... I had a reservation but wasn't 100% sure I'd be able to keep it. Just incase i bought the cancellation insurance. Then when I decided to cancel I did so with more than 24 hours advance but they had already charged my card. The reservations clearly... More

In the information of AdaM hotel is said there are private bathrooms, but in fact I had to share mine with the neighbor. The room was very simple and modest, maybe suitable for a budget traveler. The room had nothing common with the pictures of the hotel's website. Everything was like a nightmare, wet and cold hotel room, dirty shared... More

Stayed here over feb, was not bad al all! it's a hostel type hotel, if you pay cheap you get cheap! we had a triple room, two singles and one double, good space, not massive but enough, a kitchen area, wardrobe, ensuite, table and chairs to chill, tv. beds where comfy, i like bouncy beds. came up every morning with... I spent 2 nights here, in the "Adam Hotel" part, I think. At least , this name was on the reservation which was made via eBookers. There is also a "Adam Guesthouse" part, and most of the reviews seem to describe this part. The location is very good, very close to the Hallgrim's Church and having a supermarket on the... More
