After being moved from one of the other CenterHotel Kopp Hotels in Reykjavik due to the first hotel being 99% full with 16 y/o kids. However, a late arrival was met with a warm welcome and the Plaza agreed to wave the difference in price between our booked hotel and the Plaza. The hotel room itself was comfortable and relatively... More

The best thing about this hotel is that it is centrally located and that staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and otherwise ok, and wifi is free. There is a water boiler in the room and free tea and cocoa powder. Breakfast was average but i do not like those inustrial sliced cheeses that taste of nothing. The... More

We chose the Plaza for it's central location and we were not disappointed, there were restaurants/bars and attractions all within easy walking distance. Staff were brilliant very helpful and very friendly...nothing was too much trouble. Happy Hour in the bar between 5-7pm is a bonus if you fancy a beer in this expensive to us city at 500 ISK for... The staff and service was excellent, with everyone being very helpful and very accomidating to an early check-in due to an earlier flight. The hotel location is great, near just about everything. Breakfast was decent, no complaints, certainly able to get your fill to power you through the day. The rooms themselves are very basic, European, hotel rooms. No frills,... More

It is located in the heart of the city. People who are working there are very friendly. I liked the breakfast. Better than many lucorious hotels'. Breakfast is served in a salloon with no windows but amazingly you don't feel that and it is not annoying. They used the lightening very nicely.. The room was not excellent but not bad... More

The hotel is in the heart of everything and the staff is very helpful. They have a large buffet style breakfast that is included and fast, free WiFi. The rooms are a little small for more than 2, but we had three and it still worked Ok.

We used this hotel as our home base for our excursion trip to Iceland, and it definitely did pretty much what we expected it to do. The hotel is clean, and our junior suite on the 2nd floor of the newer section--while not an actual suite--was comfortable with a perfect view of the plaza in front of the hotel. The... More

We stayed at Plaza for 1 night after staying at the other CenterHotel Kloop for 4 nights. The Plaza hotel is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Reykjavik though the rooms are very quiet and you cannot hear hardly any street noise at all which is great. We had two rooms booked though strangely even though the... More

Plus: Great location in a square with bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. WiFi is free and the signal is good. Minus: we had 5 rooms and only one working TV. Rooms are quite dark. Bed very soft. Overall a good place to stay.

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night because although in Iceland for 3 nights, our first hotel was fully booked for the 3rd night. Anyway, this hotel is very well located - right in the centre of Reykjavik and next to the tourist information office, which is helpful. The hotel is small, but very clean and modern. However,...
