We stayed in the Villa building of the hotel. Wonderful old building with very modern interior and decor. Excellent shower in large bathroom. No A/C, fan provided. Very quiet room. Extensive breakfast buffet in well lit attractive dining room that opened onto a deck. Guests are invited to enjoy chaise lounges in the beautiful garden area. Use of sauna and... More

Excellent beds and accommodations. But room was hot even with a fan and windows open at night. Would stay there again in winter months

Five minutes away from the train station by Taxi, and 15-20 mins walk to the historic city center, Neighborhood very quite, easy & beautiful route to walk to city center. Staff are very helpful, very friendly, room safe was low battery and locked our stuff inside but the managed to open it same night. Room was on the 2nd floor... More

Salzburg is a lovely city and the Hotel Auersperg is a lovely hotel a short walk away from the centre of the city. Our room was extremely comfortable, well appointed, bright and spacious. As other reviewers have pointed out, the breakfasts were first rate, with choices to suit most tastes; service was first class and, weather permitting, breakfast outside on... More

We had a wonderful stay in Salzburg, and especially liked this hotel. The breakfast was a real treat, with tons of items to choose from and very good quality food. We also really enjoyed a quick meal we had at the bar at night-- super tasty panini that was very reasonably priced. The one minor complaint I have is that... More

We stayed in the villa - the room was brilliantly designed, decorated and appointed - best I've ever stayed in. Breakfast (and serving staff) was also fantastic. Reception staff typical for the region, but certainly not rude or unhelpful. Overall fantastic hotel.

We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel as we got our directions confused and thought it was a bit further away than we cared to trek with our suitcases. It really wasn't that far after all. The hotel is located on a very quiet street on Auerspergstraße, about a 10 minute walk to Mirabella Gardens and... More

We stayed for a really comfortable weekend in this hotel and found it to be exemplary for comfort, clean and quiet rooms and wonderful breakfasts. The bar was a nice too with books and comfortable seating and delicious drinks and even a late-night helping of cake and cream. The service was good and it was only a 10 min pleasant... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you had some bad experience with a massage. Normally we only offer massage in the spa-area before the spa opens at 5 p.m. and during the massage we close the spa for the public. In your case something went definitively wrong. We really can understand that you found the situation... More

I took my mother to Salzburg to celebrate her 70th birthday. We was allocated a room, overlooking the gardens as requested. The room was extremely spacious with a small lounge area. The bathroom and decor was nice and modern. The hotel has a small bar area, which serves drinks as well as light snacks - great cocktail menu. The buffet... More

Stayed in a cosy room on the 3rd floor. Very quiet. Breakfast was amazing and although room service was limited they made a great ham and cheese toasted sandwich when the stomach started rumbling. Tea and coffee in the room would have been nice. Borrowed videos from the reception area and watched sound of music with my 13 year old... More
