After 3 nights of noisy (but beautiful) Vienna we asked for a quiet room and got a room that was quiet, looked on to the backs of residences, had plenty of light. Not high on charm, but had ac. Even though it is a bit away from the center of things, we were able to walk to everything in town.

The hotel is situated in the city centre. the staff was helpful and friendly. the breakfast was also very nice.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. Clean, good value, 10 minutes from the old town and the Sound of Music is played on loop! However, there is nothing to really make you want to rush back to the hotel if you ever go back to Salzburg. Functional and good for a weekend break but probably no more.
