We were there on February 2004. It was a good place not to much far from the city center. Just a ten minute walk. we were there to attend a conference and didn't get any problem to go to the conference center by walking. The breakfast was also reasonable for that price
We found the Pension Goldener Winkel to be more than adequate for the price. I believe we paid $85 for three people. The hotel is walkable to the Altstadt. Our room was simple, quite spacious and very clean. There was no phone, TV or radio.

My husband and I have stayed at the Goldener Winkel in Innsbruck three times.
Rooms are simple, warm and clean. Bathrooms are spotless. The host is lacking in personality but the location, cleanliness and cost make up for it.
Morning coffee is strong and fabulous with the traditional German/Austrian breakfast of fresh rolls and cold cuts.
