While the chalet itself is positioned amazingly well - right by the lift - the service was sadly somewhat lacklustre. Excellent location right at the bottom of the slopes. Ski to the door via Blue 20 (closed whilst we were there but apparently more like a red run) and Red 21 (good run but some hairpin bends and steep elements so may not be suitable for beginners). Just returned from Chalet Karlberger. We stayed in the quad room or apartment as Crystal call it, wasn't that impressed, it was a bit shabby and in need of an upgrade but fairly clean, could have been better.
