Very good location in real walking distance from every city center location. Public transport Rooms are very pleasant. Especially "privileged" ones. However view from the window is ether another room's window looking at narrow inner yard (our case) or wall of the building at the other side of the grasse. Internet service (Wi-Fi) is literally unusable: one should enter password... More

I haven't had the best impression of Mercure, but this one in Vienna is very nice! I stayed in the "Privilege" rooms located in a separate area of the hotel with their own elevator and what looks like will eventually be their own lobby. The room was a decent size and, although decorated in a style not really to my... More

The Mercure Josefshof is a well located hotel, near the Parliament, Rathaus, and a quick walk to the Museumsquartier. We had a standard room, paying nearly US$40 less than an upgraded room; it was large, with a desk and chair, two arm chairs and a comfortable double bed and truly was an excellent value. The bathroom as well as the... More

Very clean and comfortable room in the new contemporary area of the hotel. Welcome, staff and breakfast were all excellent. Great spot for getting to conference, but also for local restaurants and museum quarter.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of November. We have been to Vienna 5 times and the last 3 times we have been for the Christmas markets we have stayed in this hotel. Location is excellent, just around the corner from the Rathaus. When the Christmas market isn't on there is usually something going on there, ice rink,... More

This is a clean, safe hotel on a side street off of the main road. There are a number of good restaurants in the area. The rooms are standard but two pluses - the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom in my room had been renovated and had a motion sensor sink, which I think is a great environmentally-... More

The house is very beautiful and preserves the decoration of Vienna in which one feels very well. The location is just great! It is very close to the city centre and just 3 minutes walk away the next underground station. The room was well equiped with spacious bathroom. The front desk was helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was very good but a... More
