Outdated decorum. Tiny box of a tv. Beds weren't very comfy. Towels a bit old and over used.

I choose this hotel because of its central location for a good price. I stayed here years ago too and thought it was fine then.
This time I was disapointed. My room smelled strongly of smoke, the building is not very soundproof and I woke up around 6 by hotel staff preparing breakfast or sometimes by other guests, breakfast coffee...

I just spent one night in this hotel. It's on the 8th floor of an apt building, great location.
The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are decorated a bit like the 30s, which gives it charm. The bathroom is very basic, but works. The breakfast leaves a bit to be desired but with all the coffee houses...

The Pension Dr. Geissler is a convenient place to stay in the Vienna old town. It is close to the Airport Bus stop and easy walking distance to everywhere in the old town. The rooms are basic, but clean. The reception team is helpful.
reasons you would want to rent this hotel: Great location, right next to the metro and trams, very short walking distance to restaurants, shopping and downtown, price was good, breakfast was included (just bread, cereal, coffee and oj) very friendly staff, internet was free. the cons are that there was a little street noise in our room, i slept fine...

Sometimes one gets the feeling that in the first district everything can be rented, even though the hotel rooms are everything else than comfortable and would need all urgently a renovation.
The breakfast was ok.,but certainly not great. The only advantage of this hotel is the location near the Schwedenplatz and also in walking distance (15 min.) to the Stephansdom,...

This place is well situated to see everything you want in Vienna. The centre of town is a mere 10-20 min very pleasant walk. It was also on the train line for the Vienna Centre which was good for me.
Be careful, however with the room you request. The first night I stayed was in a room facing the street...

I barely got a wink of sleep in this place - it was awful. Firstly, the walls are so thin - I could hear the people in the room above walking, talking: is this normal for Austrian buildings? I'm British and I rarely have this kind of problem in my country. Secondly, the bedroom window opened out into a courtyard....

Well priced and very friendly staff. We will be back
Location as all the other reviews state was the best part. Our room was nice, no frills. It was odd taking the elevator to the top floor to register in an apartment building. Seems like the hotel owns the top two floors. I got used to it quick. Don't open your windows for too long with the light on at...
