The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Vienna, it is a few minutes walk from the Opera house, the palaces and its a 5 minute walk from all the shops. The hotel is internally modern and has has everything that was expected. Food and drink was impeccable which includes room service. There was a slight error which meant... More

Yes Vienna is a beautiful city but to many it's known to be very dull and lifeless. And yes it's almost impossible to find a modern, trendy, posh, hotel in the city. BUT the Le Meridien is THE place to stay while in Vienna. The hotel is very chic and has a youthful feel to it. The location is THE... More

Staff at reception were very helpful and really concerned about making me feel at home. As I am a SPG gold member, I got upgraded to a superb room. High ceilings, airy, lots of light, excellent bed, lots of amenities in the bathroom. Hotel has double windows so the street noise is diminished. Above all service is excellent. Staff is... More

This beautiful hotel is very stylish and perfectly located. The showers are amazing and the decor is very cool. The cons are a few maintenance issues (although staff was very quick at replying), the concierge was not very knowledgable, and the price Of food in the hotel was crazy expensive. 30 euros for breakfast or 17 euros for continental (croissant... We chose this hotel because of "points" but were surprised and thrilled with the location -- we could walk everywhere -- the bed was so comfy and the amenities made our stay even more comfortable (the mini bar was well stocked and surprisingly free). Staff was extremely helpful in suggesting places to eat that were not going to break the... More

I, too, agree, is the location of this property is its biggest asset. I took the CAT in from the airport and changed to the metro (just two stops). The hotel was 4 minutes walk from the metro. I arrived early in the day and when I came back my luggage had already placed in my room. The room was... More

As noted by many reviewers the location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is a very short walk to the Opera House around 100 metres and a similar distance the other side to the Natural History and Kunsthistorische Museum with the Hofburg opposite. Cost by taxi from the airport was around 35 euros without tip. Returning to airport the... More

Stayed one night in Vienna on business, got a great deal on hotwire. Spacious room, helpful staff, quality furniture and decorations, good bed. Complimentary minibar. Expensive, but tasty breakfast. I got no hot water for my morning shower, which I mentioned at checkout, and promptly I was told breakfast was on the house. Location is hard to beat, in the... More

Had two rooms on cash an points and were well taken care of for the most part with the free mini bar being a nice touch. Some of the front desk staff were helpful but a few were very cold and matter of fact. The concierge was fantastic and helped us arrange for transportation etc. Our room was tough to... More

Great location, near the Opera house and Museum Quarter. One block to U bahn. Hotel is modern and going for hip vibe. Lobby is pretty sparse. Not a place to hang out. We had two rooms. One had a king bed and overlooked a courtyard. Modern furnishings, high ceilings, definitely spacious for a European hotel. Shower has no door and... More

Dear “tiki13”, thank you very much for your feedback regarding your last stay at the Le Méridien Vienna. We are glad to hear that you could benefit from our location but we are even happier to hear that you felt cozy in your room and could enjoy our Victorian style bath tub. Did you actually know that they were designed... More
