My mother and I stayed in Speiss & Speiss for 2 nights in May (including Mother's day weekend). I can't say enough good things about this place! The location is superb, just steps from the U-bahn (with Hainburgerstrasse clearly labeled on the U-bahn exit). We took a cab from Westbanhof, but it would've been really easy to take the subway.... Spiess & Spiess is located on a quiet street near the metro station Rochusgasse (a one-minute walk). The room was clean and spacious and had a fireplace. The bathroom had a separate toilet area and a corner bathtub (which we loved). Enjoyed the breakfasts. Overall, a great place to stay in Vienna.
