This is a good, modern hotel, with good service, good breakfast, nice rooms, but no more than what one would expect. The hotel is located 15-20 minutes walk from the center but close to the "sunny side" with a smaller shoopingsenter and nightlife options and restaurants. Much charm here in the summer. Good breakfast and friendly staff at reception.

Not the most extravagant hotel in Trondheim, but it has a high standard on the rooms and it is very fresh and clean. The breakfast is as good and diverse as you expect it to be. What I miss in this hotel is a relax and spa area, other than that it is highly recommended.

Scandic Solsiden is centrally located, next to a large shopping center in an area that once was a large shipyard by the river.
