Ok, it's as cheap as you're going to find in mega expensive Norway and the room was clean. Bergen is small so the location is good, 10 mins walk from train station and the main sites. But... what a noisey hotel. SportsBar in the basement open til like 2am and on matchdays is full of chanting supporters. No sleep in... More

Stayed above the dodgy bar with the loud beer garden out the back. Room was a total disgrace - looked like blood/excrement was smeared on the wall next to the light switches. The heater was hanging off the wall , windows did not open properly. Curtains were see through and did not fit properly which at this time of year... More

Rates are low, but it would be more than worth it to spend more to be able to sleep through the night. The lobby is nice and cozy, and the employees were more than friendly, but those were my only positive experiences. The rooms were spartan, which would be okay if I were more comfortable with the cleanliness of the... More

1:00 am calling reception asking what time music stops:2:30 was the replly followed by a "no problem!". Well yes it is a problem. You would except that for lower (but not cheap) rates something would not be perfect. And a lot is not but one can accept the rundown litle room of spartan decoration at least they are clean. However... More

The price is ok, especially for average normal prices Norwegians. Excellence in courtesy of the team, very young, so maybe less uncompromising for systems and more open to challenges. Unexpected positive sign, since the services in Norway are scarce, expensive and coarsely. I slept in a room of good size, located within the building, fresh air of the courtyard, with... More

The hotel suffers from awful noise pollution. No sleep until 3am. Staff are unhelpful and assume the noise is to be expected. AVOID!

Excellent location in central Bergen. Room was clean and comfortable, has an armchair & flatscreen TV. We had a room at the back of the hotel and it was very peaceful. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful and there's a nice lobby with newspapers, seating and coffee & tea available at all times. I wasn't particularly taken with the... More

Expensive hotel (as all Norwegian hotels are) but clean room and good service. Free internet, very convenient location to Bryggen and other attractions in city center. Cafe on the street below does make some noise until around 3am on Fri and Sat but it's not too bad and that's the price you will pay for such a central location.

Stayed for two nights in a double room. Basic, clean hotel. Nice staff. TV in room with some international channels. Restaurants and bars nearby (rooms quite noisy in the weekend). Short walk to city center and attractions. Small breakfast included in the room rate and free use of the coffee making machine in the lobby.
