The hotel was very well located but way too expensive for what it was. It is probably the Bergen Hotel Association which hikes the prices up, but over 130 euros per night for an old and dated room without breakfast is a bit too much really. went with family, for 2 nights stay, in March 2012. the family room was OK. good view since it is on a main corner and on 5th Floor. hotel location excellent as it is very near to the Sentrum, Railway station, Bryggen, Tram terminus, Floibanen and nearly all the bus stops.

Centrally-located, yes--which is nice. Clean? No. Cheaper than nearby hotels? Not by much. Free WiFi? When it works--which isn't often (and that held true across four different wireless devices). The "TV Lounge" has no TV. Don't expect soap, hangers, or even cheap flatware in the kitchenette unit. Loud, poorly insulated, smoky, dim, cold...yuck!
