Stayed here a few nights, ok breakfast buffet. Overpriced uninspired lunch buffet. Rooom was boring and not up to date with poor amenoties. Stay in this hotel if you dont bother looking for another hotel. Otherwise find somewere else to stay. Service wice the hotel has little to offer apart from an ironing room!.....

I spent one night there and found the hotel pleasant even though decoration looks not so recent.

Talking about hotels, Rica and Radisson are the two main competitors in Norway. For me, the most important difference between them is the behaviour of their staffs. There are always friendly people in Rica and snooty in Radisson. Rica Parken in Alesund is one of the clearest examples. The woman in Reception was very friendly during the check-in and check-out.... Positive: Clean rooms, with fridge/mini-bar, flat screen tv, very comfortable sheets&comforters. Very good breakfast. Check in and Check out is fast. Negative: Got a room with a bad view. Twin beds instead of a queen/king. No toothbrush and toothpaste.

The hotel itself is nothing special, decent but not fancy, but the breakfast goes to my top ten. Assortment of warm & fresh breads, little "morning power drinks", local sausages. Overall great!
