Helen and Alex are proprietors of lore and culture. The Parkview is a rustic spot on Wilmington Park grounds and 1 ½ blocks to Beachy head. Fine breakfasts, engaging conversations, and easy going social stylings are here. That and the young pianist made our stay memorable.

A nice hotel, the owners are very friendly and make you feel really very welcomed. The room was clean and breakfast is very good.Highly reccommended Only 10 minutes walk to the city centre, the sea is just around the corner and the Devonshihe Park is in front of the hotel. This was our first visit to Parkview. We received a genuine welcome on arrival. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, our room (No: 4) was large and airy with high ceilings and despite the soaring temperatures outside the room remained a pleasant temperature. Great location and very attentive and friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. Alex and Helen, you are stars. If you are going to eat out at night I would recommend Morgans Bistro by the roundabout as you are heading into the town centre from Parkview.

I highly recommend for anybody to stay at this "wonderful" hotel. You will never find the type of service that this hotel offers anywhere. They were very helpful, accomodating, friendly and all around one of the best hotel i have ever stayed at. The rate was incredibly cheap and Charlene their daughter was very entertaining. Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Parkview Hotel, the hotel is in a great location just minutes from the beach and town centre. The owners where really friendly and one of the only hotels I found to do a great discount for children. Breakfast was yummy, the hotel was spotless. Would highly recommend it
