Myself and wife recently stayed at this hotel after having a very bad experiance at another, the staff were very welcoming and willing to help us. we arrvied after the dinner had finished but we were still offered dinner and the chef and waiters stayed to serve us. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and service provided whilst attending a family wedding and the reception which was held in the the Devonshire Park The standard of cleanliness, furnishing of the room and genuine friendliness of all the staff, was one of the best we have come across. Spent one night in the hotel for our wedding anniversary. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was very good. Our only complaint would be that there was not enough staff in the restaurant but this could be because we went on a very warm weekend out of season and they were busier than normal for this time of year.... Excellent in every way. Staff helpful, hard working and friendly. Rooms large, bright, clean and with individual decor. Extensive tasty breakfast options from smoked salmon, haddock to fresh fruit. Less than £4 taxi ride to train station. On this occasion work booked me me here but would be happy to stay on a personal visit.
