Stayed for one night as a birthday treat for my wife.Rear of hotel needs tarting up a bit but we were told was due to be done. The staff couldn't do enough to make us comfortable,so attentive. Evening meal great as was breakfast. Loved the oak panelling throughout the hotel.

We did not stay but had our works christmas dinner in the reaturant which was great. The food was fantastic, service great. A great little boutique hotel which should be supported, we were the only party in the restaurant but for a larger family gathering it would be a great venue with lovely grounds to the rear.

Friendly staff, clean room but very small, nice food, only fault no proper lounge/bar area, i couldn,t find it anyway. Other Best Westerns in the area that i would probably try before i returned but no real complaints
