Stayed for just 1 night (13.04.13) and had a deluxe garden view room. Great value for money. Having read some of the less favouable reviews I think the extra £15 a night is well worth the upgrade. The room itself was clean and tidy with a super king size bed (which is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever... More

Stayed here as a anniversary treat and would say its miles better value than a travelodge or premier inn (and cheaper). Staff friendly and helpful. Garden lovely even though it was too cold to enjoy them. We had standard room but compaired to many it was pretty luxurious. Will definatly return through the summer for a weekend break

Stayed her for 1 night while visiting relatives - had room 4 which leads directly onto the tiny "dining room" area - get used to people hearing you when using the shower or toilet or just spending time in the room itself - all that separates you is an interior door. The bath towels are stiff, old and well worn,... More

Stayed here as two couples nice rooms and cracking cooked breakfast. Owners very friendly and most helpful, ideal for visiting Wakefield and Leeds each being some six miles away. Private parking onsite and a nice club nearby if you fancy a bevvy. Will stay here again no hesitation and many thanks to the owners for a lovely stay.

Good value B and B close to Leeds/Wakefield. Deluxe double room was large with a very comfortable super king size bed, also with settee and colour TV. Also patio doors to small terrace with view over the garden - probably quite pleasant in warmer weather. Pub within about 200 metres serving a wide range of good food. Bathroom left much... More

We stayed for one night as we were visiting colleagues in the area. We wish we had stayed longer. Fabulous deluxe room with garden view. The welcome by Steve was great and his explanation about the wildlife in the garden perfect. Enjoyed the binoculars that are available in all deluxe rooms. The room was modern, tastefully furnished, warm and clean.... More
