we stayed here for a family wedding being held in a nearby hotel. the outside was a bit off putting because of the location and the building itself doesn't look great but the room was really quite nice, clean, comfortable and had necessary amenities such as tv, tea and coffee facilities, mini toiletries (mini shampoo and shower gel, and shower... It has been documented in the past that the location is rather insalubrious, in the midst of an Industrial Estate. However, it is suprisingly quiet and is convenient for the M1 Motorway (junction 39). It has European style chalet rooms on three floors with a detached Reception/Restaurant. My room was small but fairly well equiped for a 'budget' hotel, with... More

The rooms are fairly small, but clean and comfortable, with free WiFi access. The continental breakfast is an excellent choice with fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants etc. The staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel is ideal for visiting the superb Hepworth Gallery, a twenty minute walk away, or there is a pay and display car park nearby, £3.50... More

I often stay with pleasure.in this hotel. the first look from outside is a little bit old but the rooms are nice clean and warm. Everything works very well included the wi fi. The restaurant is very good and the staff is always very nice and helpful. I warmly recommend it. It is not necessary to spend a fortune to... More

The hotel is located about 5 minutes from J39 of the M1. It is situated on a small industrial estate. Not the most attractive setting but good for the city centre and for the M1. The staff were excellent, very polite and efficient. My room was clean and adequate with a TV (flat LED), kettle (tea and coffee), bath/shower. There... More

It's on the edge of an industrial estate, kind of cold and soulless. The room was small, adequate, but the carpet was gritty, as if it hadn't been vacced. Skirting boards were very dusty. Tea tray had ring marks on it. Our room had a bath with abundant hot water, but we had to ask reception for towels as they... More

On arriving the drive threw the industrial estate doesnt prepare you for the little touch of France this hotel appears to have.Booking in was a delight as after a long journey to find that you actually book in at the Bar was a pleasant surprise lol a nice glass of cool wine went down a treat and you can take... The Campanile has a motel style layout whereby the reception and restaurant/bar are in one building and the hotel rooms are in another, and each hotel room has a door that opens to the outside world rather than in internal corridor. Due to the price bracket this hotel falls into, I know it is inevitable that I will compare it... More

Stayed here over night with 3 friends. Was the most horrific "hotel" we have ever stayed in. 1- Spiders EVERYWHERE! - Outside room doors, staircases, in the rooms etc etc. 2- Window was broke - Probably how the spiders got in. 3- Bath hadn't been cleaned 4- Bedding torn & stained 5- Kettle hanging off the wall 6- Insufficient lighting...
