We stayed one night. The hotel is a cross between a B + B and small hotel and is very comfortable throughout - quaint. Good sized bedrooms. We did not eat there as wanted to go out into the surrounding villages.

We had lunch. The menu offered a good choice including fish, which was I had, and very good it was to. The public areas are very comfortable, with a log fire, and chairs you could sleep in if you wanted. Service was low key and efficient.

I stayed overnight on business and dined in the restaurant. The bedroom was well-furnished, immaculately clean, and the bed very comfortable. A favourite stopover between Cornwall and Suffolk just got even better with a new chef and delicious evening meal. Highly recommended particularly for those of you with dogs - very dog friendly with plenty of walks right outside the front door.
