Very good value, clean and comfortable with smart, helpfull staff all you really need.

Just had a fab stay at Balkerne gate Premier Inn, Colchester! Really good value. We had a huge room with plenty of space for our Sons single bed. There was lots of tea and coffee in the rooms ( Kenco and twinings!) Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked. Great value too as our Son ate free!

This Premier Inn is ideal for those who want a large clean room & an acceptable eating place next door. I stayed here for a friend wedding (twice in fact). The rooms are fairly small, but clean. It's probably the better of the "chain" hotels in Colchester. The bar is very expensive. The breakfast is excellent - good choice of cereal, continental or full English and great if you are feeling the effects of the night before ;)

Had a family room - nice and spacious with sufficient facilities in room and vending machine in foyer for drinks, snacks and toothbrushes etc. Staff friendly and smiley !

Arrived and was welcomed by a smiling lady and straight away told us everything we needed to know,if you want any more tea coffeee feel free to ask she said ,the car park was excellant wuth camers watching the cars, the room was comfy and very clean we didnt hear any guest noises from room ,the breakfast was next door... There was plenty of parking for vehicles of various sizes with numerous cameras.Rooms were of same cleanliness as other premier inns but these rooms are getting a little dated.Pleasant welcome on arrival.Good service at breakfast and enjoyable atmosphere in Table Table inn.This stay was far more enjoyable than Colchester central premier inns and is rated so

An absolutley typical Premier Inn - nothing to dislike. I found this one to be particularly quiet, i.e. no traffic boise and the rooms were not too stuffy.
