This is a newer Travelodge, so basic room but everything is there and, if you are looking for a place to sleep and not be pampered, then it is perfect. Very near the centre of town for food and drink, and with same available on site.

A typical travelodge room, basic facilities. Bed uncomfortable due to worn out mattress. Staff pleasant. Had evening meal in the cafe on the ground floor, basic but fine. You know what to expect.

Very good value for money and only a stones throw away from Butchers street. If you are looking to go partying then this is an ideal place to stay. The rooms are typical travelodge rooms accept they have very high ceilings. The bed was comfy. Unfortunately some people set the fire alarm off twice in the night so my sleep... More

Only stayed here one night, because at around £30 it was cheaper and easier than a taxi back after seeing a gig. For that, it was fine - but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room, which to be fair was a good size, was totally depressing. For betweem £20-30 quid, I would... More

Stayed for two nights on prepaid deal for under £40. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Reception helpful and friendly, phoning or a taxi when we required it. No noise during the night. Didnt try breakfast as Witherspoons do excellent breakfast only a couple of minutes walk away. Would consider staying again, although the nearby Ibis may have the edge... More

Bar and restaurant available and relatively good location, although no dedicated parking. Check in was ok and the night staff on the bar was very attentive and polite and offered good service out of hours. The norm at this hotel is to keep all the TV remotes in a drawer behind reception until you ask for one, i have never... More

Typical Travelodge really, looks like one of the more modern ones. We did book a twin room and was given a double so had to go back down to change it. As is now common at travelodge we then had to make yet another trip back to reception as there was no bedding for the smaller bed. Room was clean... More

I have stayed in several Travelodge hotels throughout the UK, but I found this to be a rather average hotel in which to stay. The hotel is situated on a small backstreet of the city. There was no remote control for the TV, and there was a Fire Alarm test of which I was not informed. i reported this to... More
