Our visit got off to a bad start with someone else's dirty socks found in on of the drawers and a temperamental TV signal. Bathroom well overdue for an update and non thermostatic shower mixer caused a fluctuation in water temperature. we had three rooms booked via easy-break,room14 small,15 bit biger and our room was 16, larger. however there is an extrator fan outside the window this starts at 7am and goes on during the day at lunch time and then till about 9.30, so if you want a knap ask for another room . we were told they have sevral... A wee cracker this one. Staff are brilliant, food is brilliant and the atmosphere is too. Beautiful little village and the hotel is being refurbished. Looking forward to staying here again in a few weeks. Wifi in rooms would be a bonus though....

Stayed two nights and enjoyed this hotel very much. Food and service good and staff excellent. Room very nice with views over to church and park. Only downside was easily transmitted noise from dining room below, but it is an old building.

Rooms were average. Meal was not too bad but had no draught lager on a Saturday night with champion league cup final on!! Drinks were really expensive.Breakfast was good until I got my soft poached eggs which were solid.
