Clean, comfortable, and friendly place. Good breakfasts. Excellent location for traveling around Royal Deeside. If you are visiting historic sites (castles etc.), double check their schedules and don't believe their websites. Three were closed on a Friday in Sept.

I stayed at Morvada for 1 night in April 2009. It was a wonderful night. The town is small and charming, the B&B is lovely, clean and quiet. Breakfast was perfect. The host is utmost friendly and welcoming. I'll stay here again any time.

We stayed in Morvada House for 1 night, on July 8, 2008. Located in the quiet village of Ballater, this Victorian-style house offers rooms that are nice and clean. The owner is very amicable and helpful, knowing much about Ballater. A 4-star place.
