This was only my 2nd B&B so I have very limited experience to base a review on, but my 1st experience was exceptionally good (see my previous review), so this one had a lot to live up to. Overall it is a good place to stay, and I can recommend it. I was in the area visiting central Manchester with... More

Absolutely concur with all of the reviews for this wonderful Guest House. We stayed here for one night and were overwhelmed by the standard of the rooms and surrounding area. Upon arrival we received a wonderful welcome from the owner and were shown to our room, which was immaculate and had everything that you could wish for...including biscuits!! For breakfast... More

I agree with all the previous positive feedback, but would add that it was so nice to stay somewhere that was more "female friendly" than your average hotel. Somewhere to sit and dry your hair with mirror and a plug point. A well lit mirror to do your makeup in. Slippers in the drawer, a hair dryer, a lovely big... More

From the moment we were met in the driveway on arrival, till we departed, we were looked after. David was very attentive and took care of every detail. We had room 2 with the super wide bed. Apparently David made this himself. Great coffee available in the room. Breakast was a treat. Fresh Orange juice, tasty sausage and bacon and... More

This well equipped B&B is in a National Trust owned farmhouse in a small village. The room we had was very comfortable, the bathroom immaculate, and - oh! ecstasy! - ground coffee for a wakeup hot drink. Downstairs is a lounge with, on the evening we arrived, a blazing log fire. There are abundant books to pick off the shelves... More

Stayed at Ash Farm in Room 1 as a treat on our way to staying with family...........we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Beautiful surroundings within a very short walk of the National Trusts, Dunham Massey with the Fallow Deer. Room was stunning, the house was a dream and breakfast was beyond our expectations - all in all... More
