I have just returned from a short break Alfa holiday at the Cumberland Hotel in Scarborough. I went with a large party and we all agreed the Cumberland was the best Alfa hotel that we had visited. We had a very comfortable, quiet room at the side of the hotel with a good bathroom with an excellent large shower. The... More

Stayed 4 nights as part of an Alfa Travel trip. Hotel was clean and well decorated, Very well sited for train station, buses and the prom. Service was very good at meal times. Food was very good ... although portions a tad on the mean side for a hungry chap like me. Nice enough to go back to.

Friendly welcome on arrival, spotlessly clean room with lovely view, really comfortable bed, and superb food, as good as some 4-stars we have stayed in, plus evening entertainment and particularly charming staff. Fantastic value.

Room clean and tidy, like it mentions in other reviews the tv is on the small side for the room. 2 Bulbs in our... More
