Stranded in Scarborough on a very cold and windy April day, after 3 failed attempts in close-by Beds & Breakfasts, I was warmly greeted at Rose Dene and really enjoyed the clean, cosy, quiet and warm room!

Just came back from on the 3rd November. we just cannot fault it. Sandra makes you welcome from the first minute, rooms nice and tidy, food is first class, Location is just right for us. We will be down again next Feb. john .

Travelled down from Scotland to the Rosedene. Fantastic weekend with fantastic people. Large freshly decorated room. Great homecooking and even better service. Due to our hotel being double booked we had organised by them a stay at the rose dene instead. Lovely staff, generous breakfast. Rooms accomodating- Business card taken and will definately enquire here in future!

After having to stop by Scarborough for a family occasion we stayed at the Rose Dene guest house. Its just been highly refurbished to a very good standard, very clean and welcoming! The hosts Sandra and Graham are very friendly and have a very high know-loge of the area. Couldn't fault the bed and breakfast one bit! Will stay again.

Great location easy to find,high standards but managed to keep their feet on the ground made very welcome ,room compy and clean,breakfast was excelent,happy to pay the bill, good value for money,would stay again without hesitation ,
