Booked for 1 night. Knocked on door at 10.30 in morning. Owner Dorothy offered room at £50.00 for the night. Checked out the room which was a large family room, well decorated with good quality furniture. Room had a large bay window overlooking the front. The Grand Hotel and sea were both visible. Separate shower and toilet which was set... More

OMG - on Saturday night we arrived at Travelodge to a 3 month pre-booked family room. It was shabby and had had no heating for 3 days! We enquired at this hotel and they had a room. Luckily because of the heating issue we hope to get a refund from Travelodge. St. Nicholas Lodge was like a port in a... More

I really enjoyed my stay here! The st Nicholas lodge is right in the middle of the main area in Scarborough. The room was lovely thank you and very clean. The breakfast was very good in deed with lots of choose and a great cooked breakfast which tasted really good. Thank you!

Personally we find this the best location in Scarborough. We arrived at the hotel on the Saturday morning, where we were warmly met by Dorothy the landlady. Although I was worried we... More
