We stayed for a romantic weekend at The Windmill in October 2011 after booking very late on a Friday afternoon. Great & attentive Host. Good breakfast. Nice cosy room. Just enough parking on site in a gated and secure area.
There is a little toy museum inside the Windmill.
Two major supermarkets both only 5 minutes walk from here.

We stayed in the Balcony Suite for two nights on the 29.12.11. It was a wonderful experience and very enjoyable. The suite was well equipped ,but a little cold at times. It had a well equipped kitchen, cosy bedroom and excellent views across Scarborough right outside your front door. Roland the host was very friendly and helpful, his breakfasts were excellent...

We have just spent 2 nights at the windmill bed and breakfast. It was my 21st so we stayed in the balcony suite for something unique and found it was definitely worth every penny! We had a really relaxing stay and found it was just what we needed after a hectic summer. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and...

Rooms - We stayed in room 3 which was so small. £144.00 for 2 nights. The rooms are old fashioned and in need of a major facelift. The rooms felt very cold. I wish we had listened to other reviews as this is definitely not 4* accommodation. The rooms had a frosted cover across the window and it was like...

The owner could not do enough for you and the breakfast was brilliant. The rooms had everything you needed and if it was not there you just had to ask

Would not return. Appreciate it was off peak but service was practically nonexistent. Would have accepted shabbiness and lack of information/availability of staff had the cost been closer to real value, which I's put at around £25 a night. Very unhappy about meter charges (as it was necessary to have diodgy heater on constantly) and would war off anyone with...

Really enjoyed our unique places to stay at the windmill. Lovely family that own the b and b. Gorgeous breakfast!!! We found the location unusual as we expected it to be in the country not the city centre. In saying that it was fab to be walking distance to everywhere! Would definitely recommend and thank the lovely owners for our...
