We phoned up and booked a room at the crescent, we were told it was on the top floor; no prob; we actually asked all be it flippantly "is the room nice" ( as we'd been quoted £180.00 for two of us for two nights - this was not a cheap stay). Yes she told us - it's very nice.... More

We stayed for a weekend (my Wife's Birthday treat) in the Londesborough Room. The whole experience was great! Very welcoming staff, spotlessly clean spacious room and the food was excellent! Booked a late availability stay and was upgraded when we arrived from standard to a suite which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent, as we're the staff and food would use this hotel again without a doubt. More

We stayed here for one night. The room was large and so was the bathroom. The rooms decor was a little dated but the bathroom apperared to be newly decorated and was quite modern in style, everything was very clean. The shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Looks great in the photo and didn't disappoint, friendly reception by the staff & a great corner room with balcony. It's slightly dated in places, but in no way that affected our stay. Reflections restaurant did a great steak & a hearty breakfast. Definitely going to return. More

Lovely hotel, room 22 has excellent windows and one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Bathroom could be a little more spacious/fancy but overall, hotel is an excellent standard. Nice staff, great location, reasonably priced. Would defo come back. More

Best place to stay in Scarborough. I have stayed at several hotels in the town over the years on business trips. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are excellent. If you decide to eat in the restaurant, then I recommend crab to start with, followed by sirloin steak. S Fowler More
