Recently stayed there the rooms were fine clean and tidy the breakfast how ever was another thing 1 piece of fat with a bit off bacon stuck to it, sausages which were obviously been reheated from the night before a dry fried egg beans were ok though and a tea in a mucky cup go else where for ya breakie... Food especially vegetables not fresh. Don't think they know what homemade is, if I wanted microwave food I'd of gone to Tesco's and got a meal for one. When asked how the meal was and we complained the daughter of the owner threw a tantrum. She really needs to learn how to treat customers and learn how to take criticism.... More

Stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable room and had the bar meals every evening. Excellent choice of food well prepared and satisying large appetites! How anyone cannot like this great British pub I do not know. Friendly people, family run with all you would expect from a pub - and more! Will be back for sure. More

Hotel was very accommodating at quite short notice for myself, husband and our daughter and it was at a reasonable price. The room itself was fairly basic but served the purpose for a one night stay. The meals were filling and the inclusive breakfast was satisfying. The staff were very helpful! More

we both ordered this meal and found they put tinned steak into a ramakin dish and topped it with a mound of puff pastry, now my definition of a pie is meat encased in a pastry base. the meat itself was pretty bland and couldnt taste any form of ale, so it was probably served straight from the tin ....... I went for a meal at the Ivanhoe whilst staying in Scarborough with my wife. It was really easy to park at the pub and we found the staff very friendly on arrival. Served with a smile and a decent pint or three my friend and I enjoyed our visit and will be back given the opportunity. More

My wife and I have just spent five nights at the Ivanhoe. We really enjoyed our stay, The staff and management were really friendly and made our stay really pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble even to the smallest detail. The location is perfect, car park free and large. We stayed in room 6 with balcony overlooking the golf coarse.... More
