The first two nights sleep were unpleasant...Draft is an understatement for room 201. The wind howled which is fine being close to the sea on a windy day but to make the curtains blow as if I was swinging from them is not comfortable...The toilet seat is side saddled and sinking through the floor to the left..not comfortable for use....not...

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Carlton and must agree that all the bad reviews I have read on trip advisor are true. The place is shocking, however, the staff are very friendly and the price was cheap. We went as part of a coach trip and knew what we were letting ourselves in for. As...

We stayed here for the night before taking an early tunnel crossing. The hotel is right on the seafront, has large rooms, private parking, is a short walk from the shopping centre and restaurants and is very reasonable. Friendly staff and I can highly reccomend it

Visited with my mother on a coach trip with JustGo holidays. This hotel is tired and needs some money spent on it, to bring it up to a good standard.
The plumbing was poor - needed to run the hot tap for a good 5 minutes to get hottish water. Shower was hopeless - trickled out - impossible to wash...

Was warmly welcomed by all staff nothing was too much trouble. Meals are generous and tasty. Perfect for those wanting to see the garden of england on a budget. There is entertainment every night, or the leas cliff hall is just along the road. There are amazing views of the Channel. The hotel is suitable for families and relaxing weekends,...
