We stopped off at Upper Hatton on a tour around Scotland. During the whole holiday this was our favourite place we stayed in.
We arrived up the forest track, although we had to take it slowly it wasn't a difficult drive. We were greeted by the friendly dogs and Marjory. When booking I selected a room that only had a...

We found this fantastic B&B by chance through the tourist information office guide and it surpassed all expectations. A lit fire on and offer of a ground floor room (+ a glass of wine) on arrival were perfect for Stuart's sprained ankle and crutches, and for me following a day of driving through perthshire's beautiful scenery. I knew this was...

In August 2011 we stayed one night in Upper Hatton. We were warned the road to the B&B was “forestry” but it took us some time to get to Upper Hatton. Driving a rental car and not being used to the right-hand wheel, it was an bumpy experience we’ll never forget ;-)
On arrival we were welcomed by Gordon and...

Tucked away in the hills near Dunkeld with excellent views, this was a hidden gem. And, well worth journey along the mile of track to reach it. First class accommodation and breakfast. Peacocks wake-up early so make sure you get an early night. Earplugs are supplied if you are a light sleeper. However, we will definitely return.

She was lovely and very accomadating to her guests requirements. The room had everything you needed from a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. To the arrival drinks in your room of...

Marjorie was wonderful. We stayed with her for three days and felt so at home! She was really quite helpful with suggesting places to eat and then making our reservations! Breakfast was so deicious and filling. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen and chit-chatting with her as she cooked. We also had a great hike up the mountain to the...

From the first meeting with Marjory at her wonderful home, to sadly having to leave. I can honestly say we've never been made so welcome in a B&B.
The wildlife, the views, the host and her dog. All made our holiday "JUST PERFECT.

Don't be deterred by the forested road up to the B&B. Once you have arrived, you won't want to leave!
Marjorie truly is "the hostess with the mostess"; nothing is too much trouble. Our breakfast was more than plentiful, and as a fellow guest put it, "Marjorie doesn't do "cutting back""!
The B&B is in a very peaceful setting, surrounded...
