Five adults (2 couples and a single) enjoyed almost a week at Coopers Cottage. We went exploring the area every day, taking in three of the surrounding counties. We were most comfortable and found Stella and Eamonn to be gracious hosts. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for self-catering in an awesome setting. A great spot for exploring a... More

We rented Cooper's Cottage along with Rathellen House on a one week self-catering basis. We expected a lot from seeing the photos online, but when we arrived we were blown away by how perfect this little cottage is. If I could move in, I would, in a heartbeat! The rooms are appointed beautifully and there is a nice fireplace for... More

After enjoying a few days in Dublin, we appreciated the peace and tranquility of staying in the countryside. Staying at the cottage gave us a sense of having a "home" to return to after our many daytrip excursions. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. We prepared some of our own meals--there is an excellent butcher... More

When Norm and I saw this cottage on line, we thought we had found the perfect spot to spend a week. When we actually arrived at the cottage, we found just a wee bit of heaven! The cottage is located down a beautiful lane--but very convenient to everything we wanted to see in the south of Ireland. The furnishings are... More

A relaxing, homely and warm cottage with picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. A wonderful self contained base for exploring Southern Ireland. It contained all we needed to make our holiday in Ireland memorable. More

We stayed in Cooper's Cottage for a week during the Easter Holidays. We are a family with four children so we stay in self-catering accomodation quite a lot, and I can say that it was probably the nicest place we ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated but very practical, and you can feel yourself relaxing within 5 minutes... More

We stayed here for 4 nights after staying in Dublin en Kenmare first part of our fortnight holiday stay in Ireland. A very nice cottage with wonderful views on the galtee mountains and with a lot of privacy. A very quiet and relaxing place and close to the sights of tipperary, like Cashel and the Glen of Aherlow. Ideal for... More

We recently returned from a wonderful 12 nights in Ireland. We did a southern loop round trip from Shannon. We had the pleasure of staying our last 5 nights at Coopers Cottage. When we arrived, we were coming from Killarney, so we visited Blarney Castle on the way. The cottage is in a wonderful setting with great views. It was... More
