Found this lovely hotel by chance. Stayed for one night on the way to Wales. Very welcoming at reception. Helped us carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stair. Spacious, comfortable room. Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today. Well cooked and presented. With a beautiful view over the river watching the canoes on a sunny afternoon, lovely way to spend a bank holiday. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
