Great place to stay if you are visiting Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area. Good value, olde world character, friendly and helpful proprietor yet not intrusive service. Wish I could breakfast like I did everyday! Try a stay here for yourself I don't think you would be disappointed.

Great location just below old castle walls near A 40 end of Ross-on-Wye. Room spotless, breakfast very satisfying. Judy, the owner is friendly and very knowledgeable on places to eat. A cup of tea on arrival was just what we needed! Very near a relaxing riverside walk and a reasonable pub. Glad we stayed!

Very warm reception. I was offered a cup of tea or coffee on arrival. A lot of consideration from proprietor about breakfast preference. Well situated one minute walk from river bank and 5 minutes from town. Strongly recommended.

Excellent location , lovely clean room , tasty breakfast & a very hard working hospitable owner. Would certainly recommend. We will be back !
